Yeah, so we're playing around a bit with MLC's look. Give us a few days before you get apoplectic. And if you know how to make a graphic span the entire page in Blogger's template, be a dear and give us a pointer in the Comments section.
i wish i could help. i can't even migrate my old page to the new version for fear of losing the whole template taco like i did before. i will be stuck in blogger '06 forever. i admire your graphics no matter what they are.
If you want some help with a graphic, let me know. I could make one for you and help you figure out how to get it the width of your page. You can check out my banner to get an idea of what I could do.
First two, and now four avid baseball fans torture themselves by closely observing their favorite major league squads. Follow along as the Red Sox, Yankees, Mets and Phillies inflict pain and suffering on a daily basis, soothed only by great beer and rock 'n' roll. (The pain and suffering has been doled out in largely disproportionate measure since 2004.)

Ecstatic.
I only take solace in the fact that our division rivals haven't made any moves that I believe have improved their teams in a significant mannner.
ethan - thanks for the offer. dig your banner. let us flounder around for a bit before we eventually give up and ask for help.
