Blue Skies

Just got word that Tommy Glavine doesn't have the "knot" that would have required surgery, just the clot(s) that are doing good work inside his old body. And there was much rejoicing. Now we can stop worry about who in hell might be our ace or, Pedro willing, our #2 down the stretch and get back to worrying about why Glavine resembles very little of the lights-out brilliant pitcher he was in April and May.

Whew.
