The Song of an Innocent Bystander
Jayson Stark was talking Mets/Phils this morning on the radio, noting that the animosity between the two clubs was real and building. He predicted that the two clubs would have at least one "Jason Varitek/A-Rod-type fight" this season. So, to Whit and Nick: who starts it, who are the combatants, and what's the outcome?

The Phils don't have a lot brawler types on the team. If I were to pick one it would obviously be Bret Myers. The Mets on the other hand are a bunch a thugs.
Does it count if Nick and I get in a brawl?
With Lo Duca (Captain Red Ass) out of the picture, it gets a lot less obvious who starts the fight. Same for Mota.
I know that time should have healed some of the divide between Billy Wagner and the Phils, but it'd only take one plunking of Pat the Bat to start a little rumble. But like Nick said about the Phils, there aren't a lot of scrappers among the Mets, either.
